Requirements for Obtaining a Research Grant

Apply for the grant within the designated application period and complete all registration requirements
Submit all required and necessary documents on time, both during and after the completion of the proposed project
The applicant for the grant must be a lead researcher of the proposed project and is responsible of completing all the requirements
The research must be original and not previously published, derived, or copied
The research project must be completed within a maximum timeframe of one year
Adhere to scientific integrity and ethical research principles throughout the research process.

Scientific Research and Projects

Eligible Applicants

An active employed researcher or expert with a recent research record for the last 5 years in cybersecurity or related fields and can be classified as follows:

A faculty member or researcher in an academic or research institution based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including both citizens and residents
A researcher or expert in a national or private sector entity based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including both citizens and residents
A Saudi faculty member or researcher in an academic or research institution working abroad

Postgraduate Research Theses

Eligible Applicants

An active employed researcher or expert with a recent research record for the last 5 years in cybersecurity or related fields and can be classified as follows:

A Saudi master's or PhD student studying in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including both citizens and residents
A Saudi master's or PhD student studying abroad in a recommended university

Bachelor's and Master's Graduation Projects

Eligible Applicants

An active employed researcher or expert with a recent research record for the last 5 years in cybersecurity or related fields and can be classified as follows:

A Saudi bachelor's or master's student studying in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including both citizens and residents
A Saudi bachelor's or master's student studying abroad in a recommended university
